Dr. Kim Michelle Lewis is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Her research interests include: characterization of hybrid nanostructures (i.e., self-assembled molecules) for memory applications; magnetotransport studies to examine molecular conductivity; and fabrication of multifunctional chemical sensors. Experimental techniques include: conductive atomic force microscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), electrochemistry STM, cyclic voltammetry, spectroscopy (i.e., UV-VIS, Fluorescence & Infrared), low temperature and high magnetic field measurements, and electron beam lithography. You can read all about her research here.
